God at Work in South Asia
A worker in South Asia recently reported that some great things are happening in the ministry there. At least ten local trained believers have been sharing the Gospel and discipling new believers in 48 villages. One woman was miraculously healed of unexplainable boils and burns on her body when ministry staff members prayed for her. Also, through more prayers of staff members, God healed a 40-year old paralyzed man who now greatly desires Jesus to be in his life. A fellowship of local people interested in Christ is now beginning to meet near him. The report also stated that more people had been healed and several have come to know Christ in the past few months. Praise God!
One of the key ministry areas that need prayer is ministry to widows in the city. Widows in this culture are often marginalized and even imprisoned, sometimes their children along with them. They live on the streets and try to make a living as maids, by begging, or through prostitution. Please pray that God would provide all necessary resources to build a home and provide work for these widows.
